Essential Oils fun for Children

Yesterday, while it was STILL summer, my children decided to raise money for charity. Rather than squeezing many lemons, they decided to use my oils. Not so sure if I was happy with this because at the end of the day my lemon and orange oils were almost finished. Anyway, they were so happy to have raised over 20 euro for KIKA (child cancer). The lemonade, I thought, was pretty delicious, but some people found it 'interesting' judging by the looks on their face ;o) They probably had expected something extremely sweet, which this one wasn't at all. The only sweetness came from a bit of honey. Basically, this is what their recipe was: in a big glass jar of 4 liters filled with water and ice cubes add the following:

• ​40 drops of lemon essential oils
• 40 drops of orange essential oils
• 10 drops of peppermint essential oils
• honey to taste

I have many other stories to share with you how my children use the oils, without me ever encouraging them to use them. Somehow children seem to love oils :o)
